Miller Pest is seeking a Lead Pest Control Technician to supervise daily field work, coordinate routes, and mentor the team to deliver top-tier pest control services. You will engage with customers, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in public-facing roles requiring adaptable communication styles.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software.
• Ability to pass pre-employment tests and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead & coordinate daily field execution (20–30% of time): support routing, time-off coverage, service recovery, escalation for customer complaints with the Service Manager.
• Lead the team: act as primary contact for crew, assign routes, check-in, and model expected standards.
• Hold the team accountable: conduct ride-alongs and quality checks, document concerns and set expectations for improvement.
• Drive team quality and culture: training, coaching, feedback on callbacks/quality trends, mentor new hires.
• Inspecting and treating: take accountability for projects and educate clients on preventative measures.
• Effective communication and customer focus: ensure teamwork and high customer satisfaction.
• Quality maintenance: uphold high service standards on all accounts.
• Initiative and responsibility: seek additional training and greater duties.
• Sales and service suggestions: propose and sell services to meet customer needs.
• Training and meetings: participate in ongoing learning and team meetings.
• Flexible hours: willingness to work varied hours.
• Safe driving: operate company vehicles safely.
