Job summary

Inspro's Personal Lines Department seeks an Account Manager to lead day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and strengthen client and carrier relationships. You will guide coverage decisions, support producers, and identify cross-sell opportunities while maintaining high service standards.

This hybrid role offers flexible scheduling and a path for professional development within a growing insurance agency serving the Wake County area. Applicants should have 5+ years of personal lines experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
• Strong client relationship skills to build and maintain positive business relationships.
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate the team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning an agency management system (PXE).

Responsibilities

• Build and oversee the daily operations of the personal lines department.
• Assist with selection and training of new department employees.
• Maintain key client and carrier relationships via phone, email, and in person.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and help design marketing plans.
• Review production reports and ensure department quality.
• Evaluate department staff performance annually.
• Contract with more carriers and attend carrier meetings; CE.
• Handle client issues and support producers.
