Job summary

Fenix Solutions in Torrance, CA is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least three years of plaintiff personal injury litigation to manage 30-40 cases from filing through trial.

The role requires full-time presence in our Torrance office, with the option of one remote workday per week after the probationary period, and offers a base salary of $150,000+ plus commission.

The ideal candidate will be admitted to the California Bar and possess strong research, writing, and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar member in good standing.
• Minimum of three years in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Experience managing a high-volume caseload and achieving favorable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases from filing through trial.
• Develop case strategies and legal theories to maximize outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, motions and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions including experts and witnesses.
• Engage in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Act as second chair during trials when necessary.
• Maintain regular client communication and supervise staff.
