Confidential Employer in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced attorney to independently manage personal injury litigation from start to finish. The role focuses on catastrophic injuries and traumatic brain injuries, with collaboration from medical experts and investigators to build strong cases and settle or try cases.

The candidate must have 5+ years in PI litigation, be an active California Bar member, and be able to handle discovery, depositions, and strategy with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, plaintiff-side or defense-side.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, and case strategy.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with complex injury claims, catastrophic injuries, or trial preparation is a plus.
• Commitment to working full-time on-site in Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage personal injury litigation cases from initial case development through settlement or trial preparation.
• Lead litigation strategy for complex injury claims, including catastrophic injuries and traumatic brain injuries.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, oversee discovery, and manage substantive litigation matters.
• Work closely with medical experts, investigators, and litigation support professionals to build compelling cases.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate strategically for clients throughout the litigation process.
• Contribute your experience and legal judgment to complex cases while collaborating with fellow attorneys.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year

Note

We welcome experienced plaintiff-side attorneys and insurance defense litigators interested in transitioning to plaintiff-side advocacy. This is a full-time, on-site position in Torrance, CA.
