Job summary
Wellington Executive Search seeks a hands-on leader to head the Application Function, developing customer-ready formulations, prototypes, and technical packages that demonstrate value of our ingredients across personal care applications. You will translate customer needs into sound formulations, prototypes, and claims-supporting materials.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline required; MS or PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a B.S.; 6+ years with an M.S.; or 4+ years with a Ph.D.
- Experience in personal care, cosmetics, specialty ingredients, specialty chemicals, biotechnology, or related application-focused industries preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of customer-ready prototype formulations.
- Provide application support translating ingredient concepts into prototypes and data.
- Lead laboratory-based formulation work and customer demonstrations.
- Serve as primary technical resource for customers through development, evaluation, and commercialization.
