Job summary

Bayforce seeks a Performance Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance tests for web, API, mobile, cloud, and distributed apps. You will lead testing across the SDLC, create test assets with LoadRunner Cloud, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.

Collaborate with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams, mentor junior engineers, and help establish performance standards and governance while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software testing or performance engineering.
• 3+ years with LoadRunner Cloud/LoadRunner Enterprise.
• Experience writing and analyzing performance tests.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Coding skills required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance tests for web, API, mobile, cloud, and distributed apps.
• Lead performance testing across SDLC from planning to reporting.
• Develop and maintain assets using LoadRunner Cloud and related tooling.
• Create automated test scripts using C and other languages.
• Analyze results with Dynatrace and other monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, database, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide performance guidance to development teams to shift-left testing.
• Review architectures to identify performance risks and mitigations.
• Develop performance test plans, workload models, and executive reports.
• Support capacity, scalability, resiliency, and failover testing.
• Maintain standards, processes, and governance for performance engineering.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
