Job summary

Datamatics is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to lead end-to-end performance testing efforts for its applications in the United States. You will design, execute, and analyze performance scenarios using JMeter, K6, and LoadRunner, ensuring scalability and reliability under varying workloads.

You will collaborate with developers, DBAs, and system architects, mentor junior testers, and help integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing using modern tools and methodologies.
• Ability to define KPIs, models, and benchmarks.
• Scripting/parameterization for API, web, and database performance.
• Familiarity with HTTP/S, REST APIs, SQL, JVM, and server performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance testing strategy, planning, and execution for all modules under the program.
• Identify KPIs, workload models, and performance benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts, data, and environment configurations in JMeter, K6, and LoadRunner.
• Conduct various types of performance tests including load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and system architects to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports with trends, graphs, and RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business SLAs and system performance objectives.
• Guide and mentor junior performance testers in the project.
• Support CI/CD integration for performance test execution and reporting.
