VIVA Pediatrics, a pediatric home health care provider, is seeking a Supervising Pediatric Physical Therapist to oversee therapy services for children in Elgin, TX. The role includes evaluating motor delays, supervising staff, and coordinating care with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Pediatric PT with 1+ year home health/acute care/out-patient experience.
• Experience supervising assistants or students for 6+ months.
• Texas PT license required.
• Driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
• CPR certification current.
• Strong teamwork, organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats children with gross motor delays and mobility issues.
• Supervises other team members in patient care within scope of licensure and agency policy.
• Documents and prepares a Plan of Care and progress notes.
• Communicates effectively with patient/family and health-care team.
• Accepts assignments within education and competence boundaries.
• Follows infection control and universal precautions.
• Meets agency licensing board continuing education requirements.
