Job summary
Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington seeks a Full-Time Molecular Pathologist to join our growing genomics program. The role focuses on clinical interpretation of diagnostic assays and leadership of molecular test development, validation, and quality management, including NGS-based exome, genome, and targeted panel assays.

Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Molecular Genetic Pathology (ABP/ABMGG).
- Extensive experience with NGS-based assays and validation.
- Strong knowledge of CAP/CLIA requirements for molecular labs.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical validation, implementation, and ongoing quality management of NGS-based assays.
- Provide molecular pathology consultation with pediatric subspecialists.
- Oversee design, validation, regulatory compliance, and QA for molecular tests.
- Collaborate with pathology, clinical, research, and bioinformatics teams.
- Support translational research and integration of assays into clinical workflows.
