Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Delaware seeks a Clinical Geneticist to become Division Chief of Medical Genetics, leading a multidisciplinary team and coordinating genomic services across the enterprise. The Chief will drive strategic direction, oversee the Genetic Testing Stewardship Program, support clinical research and education, and recruit diverse faculty to grow the program.

This role reports to the Chair of Pediatrics and partners with Neurology, Hematology/Oncology, and other specialties

Qualifications

• Board certifications in pediatrics and clinical medical genetics are required.
• Board certification in molecular genetics preferred.
• Evidence of scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications or research funding.
• Active involvement with national or regional professional societies.
• Experience in working with underserved populations, including those with economic, health, cultural, and educational disparities.
• Demonstration of a strong commitment to medical education.
• Five years of progressive leadership experience required.
