Phoenix Children's is seeking an onsite, full-time Laboratory Supervisor to lead Hematology, Coagulation and Flow Cytometry sections. You will coordinate staff, schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and equipment management while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and high-quality daily operations across the Core Lab.

The role partners with section medical directors and lab leaders to drive engagement and service excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
• MLS (ASCP) Certification or equivalent; SH or eligible to obtain within one year of employment preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience performing Hematology and Coagulation testing in a clinical lab.
• Experience with equipment/assay implementation, LIS validations, equipment management, training/competency and QA activities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Hematology, Coagulation and Flow Cytometry sections and ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Lead personnel, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and equipment maintenance; manage non-conforming events and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with section medical directors and lab leadership to ensure staff engagement and operations efficiency.
• Implement new equipment/assays, validate middleware/LIS interfaces, and maintain regulatory standards.
• Provide staff supervision, training, and performance development; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, inventory, and adherence to regulatory standards; support organizational goals and mission.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by Laboratory Manager or Director.
