Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a skilled Profit Center Manager-Printed Circuit Board Assembly, onsite in New Haven, CT. You will lead tooling, processes, and documentation for PCBAs, perform DOEs and PFMEA, and drive process improvements across assembly operations.

This role requires strong SMT expertise and leadership to support new product introductions. The position sits onsite in New Haven, CT, reporting to the General Manager of SARGENT Manufacturing, with opportunities to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years SMT/PCBA development experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience required.
• Strong SMT process development background and technical leadership.
• Proven ability to improve yield, quality, cycle time and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tooling, processes, documentation, and instructions for PCBAs.
• Conduct DOEs, PFMEA, and other methods to improve processes and quality.
• Configure BOMs and routings for PCBA/systems per product structures and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of stencil design, solder paste, stencil printing, pick and place, and reflow processes.
• Identify root causes of PCBA defects and drive corrective actions.
• Review assembly operations for accuracy and optimize manufacturing methods.
• Lead New Product Introduction activities for electronic assemblies.
• Order equipment, tools, and instruments for new processes.
