Job summary

NFP Rx Solutions, the pharmacy benefit consulting arm of NFP (an Aon company), is seeking a Strategic Pharmacy Consultant to maintain strong client relationships and deliver PBM expertise after account acquisition. You will advise on pharmacy benefit strategies, review contracts, and lead implementations with cross-functional teams to optimize client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in any state; PharmD preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in clinical consulting and analysis of pharmaceutical products and clinical programs; PBM/Health System experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy consultant for assigned clients, building relationships and understanding client priorities.
• Advise on PBM strategy including plan design, formulary management and utilization programs.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve outcomes and reduce spend through data analysis and contracting.
• Review PBM contracts, financial reports, claims data, and benefit designs to identify risks and savings opportunities.
• Lead ongoing account management, address client concerns, and resolve complex issues.
• Direct PBM implementations, renewals, and plan changes with internal teams and clients.
• Develop client reporting, presentations, and strategic recommendations for decision-making.
• Represent VPS as a subject-matter expert in meetings, presentations, and industry events.
• Maintain expertise on PBM and healthcare trends to drive innovations and improvements.
• Contribute to operational excellence through documentation, training, and process improvements.
