Job summary

NFP Rx Solutions — the pharmacy benefit consulting arm of NFP — is seeking a Strategic Pharmacy Consultant to support VPS accounts after acquisition. You will build strong client relationships, advise on PBM strategy, and coordinate services with PBM partners and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Licensed pharmacists with 3+ years of clinical consulting are encouraged to apply. Travel 10-20% is required with occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in any state; PharmD preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in clinical consulting and analysis of pharmaceutical products and clinical programs; PBM/health system preferred.
• Deep PBM knowledge, contract structures, and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy consultant for assigned clients and build strong relationships.
• Advise on pharmacy benefit strategy including plan design and utilization programs.
• Analyze data to improve outcomes and reduce spend with best practices.
• Review PBM contracts, financial reports, and utilization trends.
• Lead ongoing account management and resolve client issues.
• Direct PBM implementations, renewals, and plan changes.
• Develop client reporting, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Represent VPS as a pharmacy benefits SME in meetings and events.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving PBM/healthcare landscape.
• Contribute to operational excellence through documentation and process improvement.
