Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Lead Payroll & Prevailing Wage Compliance Analyst based in Orlando, FL. You will drive payroll accuracy, uphold IRA and prevailing wage rules, and ensure employees are paid correctly and on time across projects.
Collaborating with Payroll, HR, Finance, and Operations, you will set standards, resolve complex issues, and keep all work audit-ready and compliant, while training teams on systems and processes.
Based in Orlando, Florida, the Lead Payroll & Prevailing Wage Compliance Analyst leads payroll accuracy and prevailing wage compliance across all projects. This role owns certified payroll integrity, ensures IRA and wage regulation adherence, and guarantees employees are paid correctly and on time. Partnering across Payroll, HR, Finance, and Operations, it sets standards, resolves complex issues, and keeps all work audit-ready and compliant.
Validate timecards, process hours, OT, and adjustments
Catch and fix discrepancies before payroll runs
Own escalations for payroll/timekeeping issues
Enforce timecard and approval standards
Train teams on systems and processes
Lead prevailing wage & IRA compliance
Validate project data for reporting
Coordinate wage determinations with stakeholders
Ensure certified payroll accuracy and compliance
Advise teams on wage rules and risk
Align Payroll, HR, Finance, and Ops
Maintain audit-ready records
Drive consistent, compliant payroll practices
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, HR, or related
5-8+ years’ payroll, HR, and finance. More years of experience can be considered at a higher level.
Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Guidebook and prevailing wage requirements are absolutely essential
Demonstrated ownership of payroll and compliance processes, certified payroll, and timekeeping regulations
Experience w/ ERP payroll, HR modules, databases & tables and project models; SAP and Oracle nice-to-have, but not required
Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to partner across stakeholders and clearly present insights and findings to leadership
