Qualifications

  • Strong IFRS knowledge; proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office, Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial partners.
  • Willingness to travel ~5%.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Fully responsible for all commercial and finance matters across Accounting, Legal, Tax, and New Collaboration Model topics.
  • Manage and optimize financial results: revenue, gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.
  • Lead monthly revenue recognition and close processes per IFRS 15 and internal controls.
  • Prepare and present commercial docs for project status meetings with accurate forecasts and cash flow.
  • Support risk assessment, non-conformance costs, reporting structures, and lessons learned integration.
  • Identify process-improvement opportunities and drive solutions.
  • Lead ad hoc requests as required.

Our Complex Projects organizationis looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Commercial Project Manager (CPM)/ Project Controller to join our team of CPMs! In this role, you will beresponsible for all commercial aspects and project financials (controlling,reporting, and forecasting). You will work together with our project managementorganization with the main objective of completing projects according to ourcontractual obligations, project management standards, and applicable financialguidelines.


A strong attention todetail, the ability to think critically, and a collaborative mindset arecritical traits for success in this role.


HowYou’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)


  • Fully responsible for all commercial and finance-related matters, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, and New Collaboration Model topics.

  • Manage and optimize financial results with due professional care, including revenue, project grossprofit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.

  • Lead all aspects of monthly revenue recognition and the financial close process ensuring compliance with IFRS 15, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.

  • Prepare and present commercial documentation for project status meetings, ensuring accuracy in project data, forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting.

  • Support projectmanagement in risk assessment, non-conformance cost reduction, reporting structures, and integrating lessons learned into projects and the organization.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive solutions

  • Lead ad hoc requests as required


WhatYou Bring (requirements)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably with experience in ProjectManagement.

  • Strong understanding of IFRS, with proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and analytical tools like Alteryx and Tableau (preferred).

  • Ability to optimally communicate financial information to non-financial partners, work in a team-oriented environment, and lead multiple tasks under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to travel approximately 5%.

  • CPA (preferred)

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
