  • Mentor and develop accounting team members while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Build strong relationships with management, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders while providing insights and recommendations that strengthen the overall effectiveness of the Accounting organization.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation is preferred.

  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant experience with General Ledger, financial close, financial reporting, and accounting governance responsibilities.

  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, Local GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and complex month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, with the ability to address complex accounting matters and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with auditors, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders in a multinational environment; experience within the energy, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or other complex global organizations is preferred.

Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, RPA, data analytics, or similar technologies is highly preferred, along with experience supporting statutory and regulatory reporting across North America.

  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to mentor others, influence stakeholders, manage complex priorities, drive knowledge continuity, and operate effectively in a dynamic, high-accountability environment.
