• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, related field or CPP required.
• Four or more years’ experience in payroll processing with two years in a supervisory or management role preferred.
• NIMS certification required or to be obtained within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise payroll functions, ensuring bi-weekly and supplemental payrolls are accurate and on time.
• Maintain payroll database and process payroll-related contributions and reporting per federal/state regulations.
• Review work of Payroll Coordinator for accuracy and compliance with city guidelines and statutory requirements.
