RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a growing building systems expert to recruit a Lead Payroll Accountant. This role will support the Payroll Manager, ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing and compliance with tax regulations and collective bargaining agreements.

The candidate will oversee end-to-end payroll, maintain system configurations, and assist with internal controls and financial recordkeeping. Travel to Texas payroll team locations may be required.

Formación

• 5+ years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll experience, including work with large payrolls.
• Experience with Union/CBA payrolls; prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
• FPC or CPP certification a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor and support junior payroll staff; assist with task delegation to maintain efficient workflow.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of payroll training programs.
• Maintain and update payroll system tables, employee records, and related configurations.
• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of payroll software, including testing and table updates.
• Partner with IT and HR to troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues.
