Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Automation Test Engineer for Payments technology within the Commercial & Investment Bank. You will lead a test team, drive end-to-end testing, and collaborate with Operations, Product and Technology to deliver trusted market-leading solutions.

You will leverage Cucumber, Gherkin, Java, and Selenium, applying AI-assisted development and automation to improve quality, speed, and security across complex deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applied experience in software testing.
• Experience with Cucumber / Gherkin, Java, Selenium.
• Functional knowledge of Payments domain and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with automated testing and test data environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a test team, allocate duties and report progress daily.
• Plan end-to-end test strategy, data, environments, defects and automation.
• Lead daily Scrum calls and deputize for the Test Manager as needed.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve testing efficiency.
• Document test scenarios and write Gherkin-based scripts.
• Monitor defects, validate results and present for sign-off.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product and Technology groups.
• Ensure secure coding standards and peer reviews.
• Leverage AI coding assist tools to boost quality and speed.
