Job summary

Aramark at Swedish Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Patient Transport Worker Lead to oversee patient transport operations. The role requires transporting patients, belongings, records, meds, equipment, and specimens across campus using the hospital dispatch system and radio communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must communicate fluently in English.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to various areas of the institution to facilitate patient care.
• Safely transports patients and belongings, medical records, charts, and equipment.
• Move patients with traction, IV lines, and other encumbrances safely.
• Notify dispatcher of status and proceed as instructed.
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles at entrances during admissions and discharges.
