Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Patient Recruitment and Retention Execution Manager to lead a delivery team across clinical trials. You will set priorities, manage resources, and drive process improvements to optimize recruitment, retention, and site engagement.

You will partner with Clinical Development and cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and ensure study timelines. The role requires 8+ years in patient recruitment/retention, 5+ years of people leadership, and strong vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in patient recruitment/retention in pharma/CRO environments.
• 5+ years in people management, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong vendor oversight with KPI monitoring and risk management.
• Experience leading recruitment across studies or programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Delivery Leads.
• Set team priorities, goals, and operating standards.
• Manage resource planning, onboarding, and performance feedback.
• Oversee delivery of recruitment, retention, and site engagement tactics.
• Translate strategies into actionable plans with timelines and risk mitigation.
• Monitor progress and provide leadership with status, risks, and mitigation.
