Qualifications

• CPCT/A certification required

• Experience in hospital patient care
• Participation in governance, quality improvement or patient safety initiatives

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients with clinical competence per care plan
• Obtain vital signs, perform dressing changes, wound care, catheterizations and EKGs as needed
• Provide psychosocial support and activities of daily living assistance
• Lead preceptor for PCT/CNA orientation and competency validation
• Assist with staff assignments and delegation under RN leadership
• Document care per unit guidelines and report changes promptly to RN
