Job summary

LewisGale Medical Center, a leading hospital in Salem, seeks a Lead Patient Care Tech to join the nursing team. You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with procedures, and mentor staff to support growth and quality care.

Expect responsibilities such as ADL assistance, vitals monitoring, documentation, infection prevention, rounds, and training. This role emphasizes compassionate, skilled care within a 500+ bed acute care setting.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• 1 year of experience in patient care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs and monitor vital signs.
• Document care and communicate updates to the nursing team.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and equipment.
• Perform regular patient rounds and respond to needs.
• Train new team members on policies and care procedures.
