Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Lead Patient Care Assistant to coordinate shift workflows and mentor the PCA team. The role serves as a bridge between the Nurse Leader and staff while maintaining direct patient care responsibilities.

The Lead PCA will oversee staffing, ensure quality and safety standards, and improve efficiency and patient experience on each shift.

Qualificações

• 3 years of patient care experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or clinical rotation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily PCA workflow during each shift.
• Support staffing assignments and mentor PCAs.
• Promote adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Serve as a communication link between the Nurse Leader, RNs and the PCA team.
• Maintain direct patient care responsibilities while providing operational support.

Conhecimentos

Patient care experience

Formação académica

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant program or clinical rotation preferred
