Job summary

Navigant is seeking a Patient Account Supervisor for the Special Self Pay Team in Birmingham, AL. This onsite role leads mail processing, patient account support, and service delivery within the revenue cycle, ensuring compliance and high patient satisfaction.

The candidate should have 5+ years in patient relations or billing with at least 2 years in people management, and be able to coach staff and optimize workflows. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
• 5+ years in Medical Billing, Patient Access, Patient Relations, Collections or related role.
• Minimum of 2+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of mail processing and patient account support functions.
• Supervise, coach, and support staff handling mail processing and account services.
• Monitor workflows to ensure timely receipt, processing, and resolution of activities.
• Provide monthly staff performance reviews and develop improvement plans.
