Cytokinetics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Patient Support Services (PSS) Operations to oversee the execution and optimization of patient support programs.

You will manage access, reimbursement, affordability, adherence support, and specialty pharmacy coordination, often via third-party partners. Reporting to the Head of Treatment Experience, you will drive operational excellence, ensure timely, high-quality patient care, and align PSS strategy with business objectives while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA/ MPH).
• Extensive experience in biopharma patient support, market access, or reimbursement.
• Strong knowledge of access, reimbursement, and specialty pharmacy processes.
• Experience managing third-party vendors or hub providers.
• Experience launching or scaling patient support programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution of Patient Support Services (PSS).
• Oversee outsourced vendors with governance and KPIs.
• Ensure compliant, high-quality service delivery across programs.
• Manage escalations from vendors and field teams.
• Collaborate with REMS and cross-functional partners.
• Design end-to-end patient journey from prescription to therapy.
• Track experience metrics and drive improvements.
• Budget management for PSS programs and vendors.
