Job summary

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers serving the South Denver area. The Lead, Patient Access in Englewood, CO leads daily operations, trains staff, and ensures accurate scheduling across multiple imaging modalities.

The role reports to the Manager of Patient Access and Registration and requires in-office presence in Englewood. The ideal candidate has prior radiology scheduling experience, strong communication, and leadership skills, with a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum of prior radiology scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of radiology modality scheduling preferred (Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, DXA, Pain Management).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily direction, guidance, and support to team members to ensure effective workflow and productivity.
• Trains and mentors team members on department processes, procedures, and job responsibilities.
• Reviews and audits team member work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
• Serves as a designated backup to the Manager and assumes appropriate leadership responsibilities during the Manager’s absence.
• Serves as a resource for team members by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on daily operations.
• Assists the Manager with the development, review, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Represents the department at meetings and communicates relevant information to the team when the Manager is unavailable.
• Assists the Manager with the preparation and completion of annual performance evaluations and 90-day performance evaluations.
• Schedules radiology examinations by telephone across all modalities, accurately screens patients, and determines the appropriate examination based on clinical and scheduling requirements.
• Provides patients with accurate and pertinent information regarding scheduled examinations, preparation requirements, and other applicable instructions.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned to support departmental operations and organizational needs.
