Job summary

St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a Lead Admitting Associate to help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate registration, and timely point-of-service collections in the day shift.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, leadership ability, and proficiency with Word and Excel. CHAA preferred. This full-time Day position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal & organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
• Extremely high degree of attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Good analytical & problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth patient flow and accurate patient registration.
• Maximize Point of Service patient collections and quality customer service.
• Coordinate break and lunch times to ensure coverage needs.
• Assist Supervisor in managing volume fluctuations and staffing.
