Job summary

Legacy Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Lead Patient Access Specialist to operate in Tifton and Adel, Georgia. The role oversees clerical staff, coordinates schedules, and ensures accurate financial and clerical records while liaising with clinical and administrative teams.

The ideal candidate has a technical or associate degree in business, with prior medical office and supervisory experience, strong data analysis skills, and solid communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate degree in a business-related field.
• Prefer 5 years experience in a medical office environment.
• Previous management experience of at least 1 year supervising clerical staff.
• Requires basic computer skills and working knowledge of EMR.
• Ability to analyze data for improvement opportunities.
• Discretion with confidential information and consumer-protected information.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and teambuilding.

Responsibilities

• Manages clerical staff and duties to support clinical programs within the counties served.
• Hire, train and discipline staff.
• Maintains clerical personnel files, approves timesheets and leave, schedules staff to meet clinic needs.
• Acts as liaison between Clerical, Clinical, Medical and Administration; ensures policy compliance.
