Job summary

Genesis Hospitality, part of Genesis Global Group, is seeking a Pastry Cook at Chez Alice Princeton. You will lead pastry production, finish desserts, and support a busy pastry shop with strong knife skills and baking expertise. Must be able to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will handle requisitions, mise en place, and a la carte line tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation. SERV Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Exemplary baking and pastry skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes or chef directions without supervision.
• Proficiency in icing, glazing and piping techniques.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Produce dessert and bakery products following recipes and chef directions.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work environment and station.
• Operate with a team, communicate with supervisors and staff.
• Lead pastry station in absence of Pastry Chef.
• Ensure proper rotation, labeling and dating of products.
