Job summary

Grand Central Bakery seeks a Commissary Pastry Lead to partner with the Pastry Operations Manager and ensure high-quality product is produced efficiently. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a production bakery environment.

The position is full-time with a 12:00–20:00 schedule, Monday through Friday, with weekend work as needed. The candidate will guide a pastry crew, uphold safety standards, and drive production goals in

Qualifications

• Must be available to work 12pm-8pm shifts Mon-Fri with weekend availability if needed.
• Prior professional pastry experience or completion of a pastry program required.
• Protects product quality and adheres to safety standards in a busy commissary.

Responsibilities

• Lead pastry operations in the commissary to meet production numbers and quality targets.
• Coordinate with Pastry Operations Manager on production planning and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure continuous production flow.
• Communicate critical information to other departments in a timely manner.
