This hands-on role supports the Parks Supervisor to coordinate maintenance of parks, reserves and sports fields and to mentor team members while delivering safe, high-quality open spaces for the community.

You will bring horticulture, turf management or greenkeeping experience, a commitment to safety and teamwork, and the ability to deliver great outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture, turf management or greenkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance of Newcastle's parks, reserves and sports fields.
• Lead by example and mentor team members.
• Support Parks Supervisor to ensure safety, efficiency, and high standards of open spaces.
