City of Birmingham invites qualified applicants for the part-time Parks Laborer position to keep our parks and golf courses looking fantastic. You'll work up to 29 hours per week with occasional evenings and weekends, enjoy a flexible schedule, and learn as you contribute to the community's green spaces.

Under supervision, you will perform hands-on landscaping, operate city-provided tools, and help protect the environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in landscaping or horticulture is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a public parks environment.

Responsabilidades

• Works as a team to carry out landscaping and horticulture tasks in City parks.
• Utilize landscaping and gardening tools with confidence and skill.
• Be a steward of the environment by enhancing the beauty and appeal of public spaces.
• Additional related responsibilities as assigned.
