Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation and determine best action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills on defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
