Job summary

AMR is hiring a Paramedic in Clinton, TN who will deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses. You will lead field operations, operate defibrillators and monitoring equipment, and coordinate with healthcare and public safety teams to ensure high-quality service.

The position requires a state Paramedic License, a valid driver’s license, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic credentials, and the ability to pass a physical agility test. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices.
• Provide advanced medical care and communicate with patients and loved ones.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
