Job summary

Laurens County is seeking a Lead Medical Professional to provide advanced life support and pre-hospital care in emergency situations. As the lead on an ambulance team, you'll make critical decisions to ensure patient safety and high-quality transport.

With a required associate's degree and EMT-Paramedic certification, you will lead a team during 24-hour tours while mentoring lower-level EMTs. Benefits include health plans, retirement options, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in emergency medical services.
• Must possess a valid SC driver's license.
• Certifications: SC EMT-Paramedic, BLS, PHTLS or BTLS, ACLS, PALS, CEVO.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead medical staff on emergency calls.
• Maintain readiness by inspecting and resupplying medical materials.
• Respond to emergency locations to assess situations.
• Provide training and guidance to lower-level EMTs.
• Maintain legal documentation in patient care reporting systems.
