Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or GED.
• Certified as a paramedic in the State of Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• 911 areas - Pre-Hospital Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
• Communicates effectively.
• Read, write and interpret instructions in the English language.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable.

Aufgaben

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day and drives emergency vehicles in varied conditions.
• Reads maps and follows directions to respond efficiently and safely.
• Maintains readiness of vehicles and equipment; completes checklists and carries out re-supply tasks.
• Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols; documents care and billing information.
