Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Paint Shop Foreman to lead painting and coating operations across its multi-site campus. The role requires a minimum of three years as a journeyman painter and proven supervisory experience.

You will oversee shop workflows, ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards, and supervise a crew while performing hands-on work when needed. This is a on-site Dallas-based position.

Qualifications

• Three years journeyman-level painting experience.
• Must maintain Texas driver's license.
• Ability to pass respirator fit testing and color vision test.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead painting crew and coordinate daily work orders.
• Ensure quality and safety per hospital standards.
• Train crew in methods and use of equipment.
• Oversee multi-site painting operations and maintenance.
• Interact with management and engineering as needed.
