Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced Paint Shop Foreman to lead painting and coating operations across its multi-site campus in Dallas, TX. The role requires several years of journeyman painting experience and demonstrated supervisory ability.

The candidate must hold a valid Texas driver’s license and pass respirator and color vision tests, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include overseeing crews, ensuring quality, and coordinating with management

Qualifications

• Three (3) years journeyman-level painting experience with supervisory or lead experience.
• Active Texas driver's license required.
• Ability to pass respirator fit testing and color vision test; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew members in resolving issues and questions.
• Coordinate work activities with management, engineering, quality control, customers, and coworkers.
• Inspect systems and facilities to determine installation, service, or repair needs.
• Direct and supervise crew while also performing hands-on work as needed in painting/maintenance.
• Requisition materials and supplies for work activities and train workers in methods and procedures.
• Ensure quality and quantity of work meets standards and client satisfaction.
