Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Painter - Team Lead to supervise daily production on an industrial paint line. You will manage manpower, train staff, and track metrics, ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to address safety, quality, and delivery issues, driving continuous improvement through Lean principles and standard work. This role requires hands-on leadership and technical paint process knowledge.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in any industry.
• Experience in top coat, prime coat and electrostatic process.
• Ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Minimum of 6 months intermediate to advanced computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production on an industrial paint line and provide manpower coverage.
• Train and develop employees; update daily/weekly metric boards and schedules.
• Identify and resolve safety, quality, process and delivery issues with support functions.
• Coordinate continuous improvement efforts aligned with Lean Manufacturing.
