Job summary

Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies (CCFT) is seeking a Paint Team Manager to lead all paint operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee development. The role covers paint booths, surface prep, color matching, and final finish for fuel system components.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in commercial vehicle or industrial painting and will collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Safety teams to uphold CCFT's manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in commercial truck, vehicle, heavy equipment, fleet or industrial painting operations.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing paint environment.
• Strong knowledge of paint chemistry, coating systems, and paint application methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all paint department personnel, including painters and booth operators.
• Develop employee skills through training, coaching and performance management.
• Establish daily production priorities and staffing to meet schedules.
• Foster safety, quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain paint quality documentation and drive efficiency improvements.
• Support production planning and on-time delivery performance.
