Job summary

Pregis in McDonough, GA is seeking a Lead Packer to supervise Packers across multiple production lines, ensuring the quality and on-time delivery of mailers while adhering to SOPs and SAP inventory controls. You will train staff, monitor quality, coordinate with QA Inspector, and help optimize workflow, with overtime as needed and a focus on teamwork and safety.

Previous lead or supervisory experience and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Promote a positive teamwork culture and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Packers for multiple production lines, monitoring performance and providing direction.
• Ensure SOPs are followed during production.
• Ensure correct packaging components are in place for each job order.
• Maintain and load flags in SAP inventory system correctly.
• Monitor packaging quality, report non-conformities, and coordinate with QA Inspector.
• Train Packers on QA SOPs and perform regular audits to ensure quality inspections.
