Job summary

Foth is seeking a Lead Packaging Systems Engineer- Paper/General Industry to lead mechanical design on converting and packaging projects, ensuring capital work stays within scope, cost, and schedule. You will develop concepts, prepare design packages, interface with clients and vendors, coach engineers, lead design reviews, and travel 25–35% annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in consumer packaging systems.
• Experience leading mechanical design on packaging projects and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design on converting and packaging line projects.
• Execute capital projects within scope, cost, and schedule.
• Develop concepts, deliverables, and cost estimates.
• Interface with clients and vendors; lead design reviews.
• Provide startup support and field data collection as needed.
