Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an experienced Lead Packaging Maintenance Mechanic for a high-speed food production environment in DuPage County, IL. The role is on-site with multiple shifts and a pay range of $40.00 to $55.00 per hour based on experience.

The job involves keeping multi-line equipment running, rebuilding machinery during downtime, diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic and electrical faults, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10+ years in high-speed food packaging maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting ability; no full electrician credentials required.
• Experience maintaining/rebuilding packaging machinery (baggers, form-fill-seal equipment, sealers).
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Willing to coach less experienced mechanics.

Aufgaben

• Keep high-speed packaging/processing equipment running across a large, multi-line plant.
• Rebuild and refurbish machinery to like-new condition during planned and emergency downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults on baggers, sealers, scales, and supporting equipment; fix without waiting for help.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting and repairs on the lines as part of daily work.
• Teach and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and log all work in the CMMS.
• Work with operations and engineering on improvement projects.
