Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Lead Packaging Maintenance Mechanic for a high-speed food production facility in DuPage County, IL.

This on-site role supports multiple production lines and a new CMMS rollout, with modern equipment and a strong team culture. Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years of maintenance experience in food packaging, strong electrical troubleshooting, and a proven ability to coach junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of maintenance experience in high-speed food packaging.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting without full electrician credentials.
• Willing to coach less experienced mechanics and lead on the floor.

Responsabilités

• Keep high-speed packaging and processing equipment running across a large, multi-line plant.
• Rebuild and refurbish machinery to like-new condition during planned and emergency downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults on baggers, sealers, scales, and supporting equipment.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting and repairs on the lines as part of your daily work.
• Teach and mentor junior technicians, passing along what you know.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and log all work in the CMMS.
• Work alongside operations and engineering on improvement projects.
