Henkel's Consumer Brands team in Stamford, CT seeks a Packaging Engineer to lead development from concept through commercialization, directing cross-functional teams and ensuring packaging meets safety, performance and supply chain objectives.

You will design and qualify packaging solutions, support regulatory compliance, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with suppliers to deliver cost-efficient, high-quality packaging for household brands.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5+ years packaging engineering experience in manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Strong technical expertise in packaging materials and systems.
• Experience with liquid and powder filling operations and packaging components.
• Ability to manage projects independently from concept to implementation.
• Strong problem-solving and risk management.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead packaging development projects from concept to commercialization.
• Serve as packaging subject matter expert to solve complex challenges.
• Design, develop and qualify packaging solutions for safety, performance and supply chain efficiency.
• Maintain packaging specifications, drawings, material standards and testing methodologies.
• Plan laboratory testing, plant trials and validation activities.
• Evaluate materials, processes and automation to improve quality and cost.
• Provide technical support for package integrity, regulatory compliance and supply.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers.
