Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to train and oversee package handlers and clerks, focusing on safety, productivity, and timely completion of tasks.

You will lead daily activities, coordinate evaluations, and ensure adherence to UPS standards while building strong relationships with staff and management.

This permanent role requires a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent (preferred) and management experience (preferred), with the ability to lift 70 lbs and operate in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understands and consistently demonstrates UPS’s high ethical standards and code of conduct.
