Job summary

UPS is seeking a permanent supervisor to train and oversee package handlers and clerks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will ensure safety, productivity and timely completion of tasks while managing attendance and timecards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, plus preferred management experience and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include facilitating training, coordinating evaluations with management, and resolving package-related concerns

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent is preferred.
• Management experience is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supervises package handlers and clerks on safety and productivity.
• Holds teams accountable for attendance and submits timecards.
• Develops good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time.
