Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Package Engineer to lead large international chemical, biofuels, and discrete manufacturing projects as Package Engineering Leader. The role emphasizes mechanical design leadership from concept through construction support for premier clients.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, 10+ years of EPC experience in chemical or biofuels contexts, and the ability to travel to client sites for kick-offs and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years EPC experience in chemical / biofuels.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Experience with large complex packaged equipment systems.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Early project planning and coordination to develop project engineering execution plans for large complex process and manufacturing packages.
• Develop and manage mechanical specification packages per Client requirements and best practices.
• Manage and influence procurement life cycle with all disciplines.
• Lead interdiscipline design coordination for seamless construction and commissioning.
• Develop complex multi-discipline Construction packages with diagrams, equipment schedules, details, and Scopes of Work.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors professionally.
• Track project scope and schedule and report deviations to the project manager.
